I think my body needs a small portion of food to get the energy.  I need to work at school or participate in after school activities.  According to Choose My Plate, "the number of calories you need depends on whether you are a girl or a boy, how old you are, and how active you are."  I am a small 12 year old girl and I'm very active and I don't eat as much as a bigger girl would.  I think that a girl's diet is different from a boy's because girls eat smaller portions than boys to get the same amount of energy that boys have who eat more.  Sometimes I eat cereal with milk for breakfast,  I would eat chicken and rice for lunch,  Sometimes I might eat baked potato and steak for dinner.
